Monopolization lawsuit over antibiotic eye drops dismissed | Reuters
A federal judge has dismissed an antitrust class
action accusing drugmaker Allergan Inc and two some other companies
of conspiring in order to monopolize the actual marketplace for Zymar and Zymaxid
antibacterial eye drops.
Judge Sue Robinson with the Delaware U.S. District Court ruled
Wednesday that pharmacy chain Hartig Drug Co Inc failed to have
standing to be able to bring your lawsuit since it bought Zymar through a
wholesaler, rather than coming from Allergan directly.
