Monopolization lawsuit over antibiotic eye drops dismissed | Reuters



A federal judge has dismissed an antitrust class

action accusing drugmaker Allergan Inc and two some other companies

of conspiring in order to monopolize the actual marketplace for Zymar and Zymaxid

antibacterial eye drops.

Judge Sue Robinson with the Delaware U.S. District Court ruled

Wednesday that pharmacy chain Hartig Drug Co Inc failed to have

standing to be able to bring your lawsuit since it bought Zymar through a

wholesaler, rather than coming from Allergan directly.
